Attorney Jill MacDonald is a skilled trial attorney at Bellotti Law Group, P.C. She currently focuses her practice in family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Ms. MacDonald graduated summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate in May 2011.
Ms. MacDonald is a tenacious advocate for her clients. Ms. MacDonald has successfully represented clients throughout Massachusetts, including Suffolk, Norfolk, Middlesex and Essex counties. Having tried cases in nearly every court in Massachusetts, she has obtained countless favorable outcomes for her clients in both criminal and civil trials. In addition to her experience as a skilled litigator, she is an accomplished negotiator.
Prior to joining Bellotti Law Group, P.C., Ms. MacDonald worked for a boutique litigation firm in Boston and for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. While at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, she earned a reputation as a talented trial attorney and was the recipient of numerous recognitions for her many skills inside and outside of the courtroom.
While attending law school, Ms. MacDonald worked as an Investigator with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers. Ms. MacDonald investigated and assisted Bar Counsel in prosecuting cases ranging from theft of IOLTA funds to false statements made by attorneys under oath. As an investigator, Ms. MacDonald participated in numerous administrative hearings as well as attended hearings at the Supreme Judicial Court. Prior to Ms. MacDonald’s experience at the Board of Bar Overseers, she worked as a paralegal and legal secretary at law firms in Quincy and Boston, Massachusetts.
Ms. MacDonald is a 2007 summa cum laude graduate of Curry College, in Milton, Massachusetts, with a B.A. in business management and criminal justice.
Ms. MacDonald is a member of the Norfolk Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association. Ms. MacDonald lives in the Boston area. In her free time, Ms. MacDonald enjoys working out, spending time with her family and friends as well as her newly adopted rescue dog.
